iGoogle allows you to customize your own Google homepage by adding in Gadgets and themes. i don't really enjoy or find the new layout useful. but YOU might. Its good because you get to put only what you want to view up on the page. but i just like simplicity unlike iGoogle makes it. but if you are in to crazy and confusing go ahead and use it. if you don't like it than it doesn't matter because you can just get rid of everything and be back to the regular. Just make sure that you get the "eyes" gadget. its my favorite
